This page is a list of things that our customers have suggested we get over the course of the last few months.
It's to be used as a place for them to keep tabs on what they are interested in seeing and for others to come and see how the process works as well as what oddities/gems/off the map goodies wemay have missed but are trying to track down.
If you have a suggestion, please see a staff member and they'll take it down (them you check here to see if it's coming) or better yet, email me about it. (In that case I will write back and that suggestion won't need to be put on this page.)

"Small Island" This British drama series set in Jamaica is on order.
"The Tango Lesson" This Sally Potter directed drama is extremely popular. I search for it every month but it has
never been released on DVD so we can't order.
"Kopps" This Swedish comedy from 2003 is Not yet Available in North America.
A customer was looking for 2 films written by Ingmar Bergman (driected by others).

Neither are available on DVD in North America yet, so we can't get them.
"Human Target Season 1" This action TV series is on order. Will be released September 21st.
"Homicide:The Movie" This TV movie based on the TV series of the same name is Not Available.
"A Midsummer Nights Dream" This 1935version of Shakespeare's play is on order.
"A Long Journey Home" This documentary about the singer Isabel Bayrakdarian is on order.
"Visage" (AKA Face) This French film from 2009 is Not yet Available in North America.
"The Grocer's Son" This drama from France is on order.
"Carpool" This comedy stars Tom Arnold and because it was shot locally (and only because it was shot locally) it is on order.
One customer was asking us to get 3 Dolph Lundgren films in.
-The Punisher Getting it.
-Red Scorpion Out of print and used copies are too much money. Not gonna get it for now.

-I Come In Peace Never released on DVD so, not getting it. (obviously...)
"Blonde" This about marilyn Monroe is on order.
"ODDSAC" This psychedelic art film featuring the band Animal Collective is on order.
"Shadow Of Afghanistan" This documentary about the truth of Afghanistan's history over that last 50 years is on order.
"I Love You Phillip Morris" This starring Jim Carrey is not out yet. It is getting a broad theatrical release in October.
We will get it when it is released on DVD.
"Convoy" This trucking/CB Radio classic from the 70s is on order.
"Monarchy" This British series about well, the monarchy is on order.
"The Chairman" 1969. Gregory Peck. Out of print??! Who cares!! I'm getting it! on order.
"Crossing Arizona" This documentary about life on the Mexican boarder and dealing with illegal's coming in is on order.
"Made In L.A." documentary about 3 latina maids working in LA is available on through the filmmaker's website. YT
This is the first I've heard of this film and word of mouth on it is good but small. Gonna wait for now.
"Midnight Clear" War film about a cease fire on Christmas eve. On Order
"Crossraods" This 1942 mystery starring William Powell is On order.

Dame De Paris" This French Musical Performance is but
is available in North America but in a weird "all regions" version.
It is also pretty pricey for such a product. I am banking on a domestic
release and will get it when that happens. So not now.
"Paul Robeson Portraits - Criterion" Don't know how I missed this. Oh well, it's On order now.

City" and "300"
-both on Blu ray. On order.
Same person asked for "Ally McBeal season 2"--the first season
didn't rent so I'm not getting this at this time.
"Race Across The Sky" This documentary about the Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race is a tad expensive plus the cycling movies we've been getting in lately have not been doing so well. I'm holding off for now.
"William Kunstler: Disturbing The Universe" This documentary about the controversial civil rights lawyer was made by his daughters and is On order now.
"Butterflies - Season 1" This popular British TV series from the 1970s got missed first time around by us so it's On order now.
"Archie Bunker's Place" Unlike the British TV series above, American series from the 1970s do not rent. So I'm skipping this.
Someone was asking for travel DVDs about New Zealand. I looked into Pilot Guides (my preferred travel production company) as well as Rick Steeves,plus I did a broad search for "Travel DVD New Zealand". Nothing of note came up either of the 2 main ones and the broad search only turned up stuff produced by New Zealand tourism which is dodgy sometimes. So I'm going to wait until a solid piece is produced.
"Joueuse (AKA Queen To Play)" A French produced film about chess starring Kevin Kline. In Stock .
"Art
Of The Steal" A documentary about multi billion dollar
art heist. In Stock .
"Beethoven's Hair, Mozartballs, Ravel's Brain" 3 different historical documentaries about the titular composers. They are from "Bullfrog Films". If Bullfrog does a straight domestic release of one of their films it is well priced. Stuff like this is like $95.00 each and they won't budge even for small business. So, as cool as they are, I'm not getting these.
"Syndromes And A Century" This award winning Thai film is In Stock .
"Paper Dolls" This documentary about the lives of a group of transsexual Filipino immigrants in Tel Aviv (!!!) is In Stock .
"American Mullet" This documentary about mullets has been asked for about 10 times so it's On order. (hope it isn't the same person asking over and over again...)
"The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes & Dr Watson" This series about the good detective was produced for Russian TV in the 1980s . Though it is critically acclaimed, it is only available as a sketchy all-region import and even at that it's $150.00-!!! So I won't be getting this.
